As President of Cobb Systems, Sam Cobb is spearheading the company's growth as a custom software and service provider. He also oversees sales and the execution of some of the projects currently under development. He brings more than twenty years of experience in business process improvement, software design and development, and general information technology consulting.
Sam has a strong background in system architecture, database design and development and project management. He has led the development and deployment of large scale ecommerce platforms at several Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Cobb graduated Magna Cum Laude in Computer Information Systems from Southwest Texas State University in 1985. He started his career at Info Now, a custom software development firm, where he worked for seven years. He began his employment as a junior developer and was promoted to senior analyst before he left in 1993 to pursue his lifelong dream of owning his own business. In 1995, he partnered with his sister Deneice and his good friend Diana to form Cobb Information Systems, Inc. now known as Cobb Systems with expanded capabilities.
Sam enjoys the outdoors and is married to the love of his life, Dana. They have two wonderful children, Ryan and Leanna.
As Chief Operating Officer at Cobb Systems, Lee drives organizational focus around providing custom solutions that contribute to and elevate the customer’s overall business strategy. His long term dedication to developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients has resulted in a keen understanding of their business models and their business needs. He works closely with Sam on strategic, long-term vision, and cultivates stakeholder relationships with both internal and external customers. Lee provides meticulous focus on budget management and drives low cost of operation and competitive pricing. Technically, Lee’s focus on high quality product delivery and his commendable work ethic render him the SME across multiple projects and technologies.
Lee has close to 25 years of experience driving successful projects. He provides overall vision for a variety of projects and focuses on using highly reliable methods to increase the consistency of system performance and product delivery. He focuses on in-house, full service solutions that allow customers to increase exposure to new markets, properly market their products and interact with end-customers and with ease and reliability.
Lee graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration focused on Data Processing and Analysis. He is a true original Austinite, a rarity in the booming city of Austin!
In his personal time, Lee shares his life with his beautiful wife and daughters. He is a dedicated member of his church and likes to spend time focused on physical health and recreation.
As Chief Technology Officer at Cobb Systems, Dan Jagnow architects and implements key projects. Dan’s technical expertise is valued by both the partnership team and the development team at Cobb Systems. His particular style of leaderships incorporates a balanced look at strategic goals and the tactical realities of day to day implementation. Dan is currently on site at the Texas Education Agency, where he served as a technical lead on as many as five projects simultaneously. One of these projects was the Foundation School Program, which is responsible for distributing $20 billion dollars of school district funding annually. This project received a 2011 Best of Texas Award (Best Application Serving an Agency's Business Needs) and a Digital Education Achievement Award from the Center for Digital Education. Dan has consulted at several other organizations during his decade of service at Cobb, including Dell, TXU, and Direct Energy. He recently spent time leading in-house projects and establishing relationships with new customers. He is also a key leader in the recruitment process and shaping the future talent pool at Cobb Systems.
Prior to joining Cobb Systems, Dan worked for Wireless Verticals, a startup company focused on mobile devices, and Arthur Andersen. Dan holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Mathematics from Texas Tech University, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Northwestern University.
Outside the office, Dan treasures time with his wife and two children. He attends Hill Country Bible Church.
